About Us
Kathleen Townsend is a highly qualified cosmetologist with 25+ years experience in all phases of cosmetology which includes corrective color, color slicing, foil highlighting, striping, painting, jewel tones, chemical textures, relaxers, razor cutting and Pivot point cutting designs. Kathleen utilizes many product and chemical lines such as Redken, Matrix, Paul Mitchell, Farouk, Mizani, Dudley and Iso. She is experienced with many other lines as well.
Kathleen is knowledgeable and skilled in skin care and occasionally attends Merle Norman staff seminars and greatly enjoys the artistry of makeup and its application.
At Kathy's Classic and Modern Hair Designs our desire is to deliver the best in customer satisfaction by using the latest trends in hair color and designs. The way we do that is through continued education as often as possible. We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust by pledging to utilize our extensive knowledge of hair to give you a fantastic look while providing you with exceptional customer service.
If In the event that one may not be satisfied due to error or miscommunication,we guaranty all services for 2 weeks and will honor design and chemical services by correction only. Service corrections must be for the original client and service performed by Kathy's Classic and Modern Hair Design staff. We do ask that the appointment is scheduled within the two weeks after the original service. We do not give refunds on services.
Kathy's Classic & Modern Hair Designs is an independent salon business inside of Merle Norman Cosmetic Studios. We gladly share the space and are eager to help one another with client needs. You will be in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere and given individualized attention. In the event you have special needs and upon request there will be no one else dividing your time.
