I was passing a lady one day and I over heard her talking about  her dry hair  tangles and fading and a chalky look to it and standing out  like a cave woman  that burried her head in the sand  I couldn't help myself...  I  had to interrupt but, she was pleased as I said I have an answer.  Just come into the salon and let me look closely  under a magnifying class.  Ok , Here it is. I then took a picture  with my sony camera that has a super magnifying  feature.  We could see  little tiny   crystals of calcium build up like lime.  I told her  all we have to do is chelate and clarify the hair.  I use Redken Pre Art for 15 minutes under th dryer and  shampooed it off twice with  Hair Cleansing Cream.    We then  deep conditioned it with all soft and took another  pic.    The shaft had shrunk in size and was smooth and  glossy.  She  was totally amazed and thought there was nothing she could do.  She had tried many different grocery store products like Pantene and Aussie Mega.  anything to make it soft but it just got worse and worse.   She thougt is was a myth about professional products.    My advice is to  visit a  salon at least once every two months to get an analysist of your hair  even  if you think what your doing is the answer.  There  is always room for improvement ans  not even  always expensive. Some consultations are free at most ans some  just a minimal charge but  waved if  you accept  the service.   Be sure and book an appointment  and talk in detail   what  the issues are and your desired results.
